Come summer, the strong aroma of mangoes captivates your senses even as you enter the market. It is simply impossible to leave without buying some.
Fair enough, because this amazing fruit can be used to make a practically endless range of recipes – right from snacks to main course and of course, desserts too.
In this irresistible recipe, we have brought together two all-time favourites – mangoes and kulfi. Kulfi always needs a bit of time to cook the milk, but it is completely worth the effort because the intense milky taste is what makes it different from other ice-creams.
In this recipe, we have added mango pulp, condensed milk and cream to give the kulfi a fruity touch and the special thing about this kulfi is it prepares in just 15 mins not more than that and we don’t need to cook anything and skip all that long and complicated method. The fruity-milky taste of the Mango Kulfi is simply awesome and it is sure to win compliments from everyone!
This method takes quite long and is a tedious process, so I went ahead making this no cook mango kulfi using condensed milk and cream.
There will be no formation of ice crystals in this instant mango kulfi due to the high fats used. This recipe uses no milk. Homemade malai, fresh cream or whipping cream can be used. Choose mature ripe mangoes that are sweet and not sour. Using sour mangoes in this recipe may upset the tummy.
