To satisfy your hunger pangs with something healthy and then paneer sandwich is right food to eat. This sandwich stuffed with paneer and your favorite veggies keeps one full and also increases the taste of your meals.
Ingredients for Paneer Sandwich Recipe
- Brown bread slices – 4
- Paneer – 100 grams
- Cabbage – 1 cup (grated)
- Carrot – ½ cup (grated)
- Butter – 1 tbsp
- Green coriander – 2-3 tbsp (finely chopped)
- Green chilly paste – ¼ tsp
- Black pepper powder – less than ¼ tsp
- Salt – ½ tsp or to taste
How to make Paneer Sandwich
Grate the paneer for making the sandwich and to it add cabbage, carrots, salt, black pepper powder and green chilly paste. Also add green coriander and mix everything really well. Stuffing for sandwich is now ready.
Stuff the bread slices
Turn on the sandwich make and heat it well. Meanwhile stuff the bread slices with the prepared filling. Take bread slices one by one and apply some butter over it evenly. Now place 2 to 2.5 tsp filling over the slices and spread all around evenly. Cover the filling with another bread slice. Similarly prepare rest of sandwiches as well.
Grill the sandwiches
Place both the stuffed sandwiches inside the maker and close it. Grill the sandwiches for 3 to 4 minutes. After 4 minutes, check the sandwich. Brown and crispy sandwich is ready. Transfer them on a serving plate and cut it diagonally from the center.
Crispy, delicious and nutritious paneer sandwich is ready. Serve them with tomato sauce or mustard sauce and relish eating.
- If making these sandwiches for kids then instead of adding green chilly mix 1 tsp red tomato sauce to the stuffing.
- You can also use onion and tomato. If you wish to eat richer sandwich then mix 2 tbsp cream to it.
